# Profile and security

> Manage account profile, login methods, passkeys, and security preferences.

Profile manages your login account. API Keys manages programmatic credentials used by apps, SDKs, and clients.

## What you can manage

Depending on platform configuration, Profile may include:

| Area                 | Description                                        |
| -------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| Account details      | Username, email, and account status                |
| Password             | Change or recover your login password              |
| Third-party accounts | Link or unlink enabled OAuth providers             |
| Passkeys             | Use browser, device, or security-key based login   |
| Notifications        | Manage account-related notification settings       |
| Check-in             | View check-in calendar when the feature is enabled |

## Passkeys

Passkeys reduce password exposure by using your browser, operating system keychain, or a security device for login verification.

  Keep at least one backup login method, such as email login or a third-party provider, so you can recover access if a device is lost.

## Security practices

* Use a unique password for Moxus AI.
* Do not share passwords or API keys with support, teammates, or chat groups.
* Enable stronger login methods when available.
* Regularly delete API keys that are no longer used.
* If you notice abnormal usage, change your password and rotate affected API keys.
