Cherry Studio supports multiple model providers. Add Moxus AI as an OpenAI-compatible provider, then manage the model names you want to use.

Setup

  1. Open Cherry Studio settings.
  2. Go to model providers or provider management.
  3. Add a provider and choose OpenAI Compatible.
  4. Name it Moxus AI.
  5. Set API URL to https://moxus.ai/v1.
  6. Set API Key to sk-your-key.
  7. Add the model names you want to use.
  8. Save and send a test message.

Model management

Cherry Studio usually lets one provider contain multiple models. Add models by use case:

EmbeddingsUse embedding models only for knowledge base retrieval
Do not use embedding models as chat models. They are for semantic retrieval and do not answer like chat models.

Troubleshooting

Check that the model name exactly matches Models and pricing, including capitalization, hyphens, and provider prefixes.
Yes. Keep Moxus AI as one provider and add different models under it.
Create a separate API key for Cherry Studio and set a quota limit. Disable that key if usage becomes abnormal.
